How does payment and escrow work?

When you book a creative, you pay a 50% deposit upfront. The remaining 50% is held securely in escrow by Stripe and only released to the creative once you mark the project complete. This protects both parties.

What is the platform fee?

Creatr charges a 10% platform fee on all bookings. This fee is already included in the prices you see — there are no surprise charges at checkout.

How do creatives get paid?

Creatives connect their bank account via Stripe Connect. The 50% deposit is transferred after the booking is confirmed, and the remaining 50% escrow is released once the client approves the work.

Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?

Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by each creative individually and displayed on their profile before you book. If you have a dispute, contact us at support@creatrapp.com and we'll help mediate.

How do I become a verified creative on Creatr?

Create a profile, complete your portfolio, and connect your Stripe account to start receiving bookings. Verified badges are awarded based on booking history and review ratings.

I'm having a technical issue with the app — what should I do?

Try closing and reopening the app first. If the issue persists, email us at support@creatrapp.com with a description of the problem and your device model, and we'll investigate promptly.

How do I delete my account?

Email support@creatrapp.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request" and we will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
